Getting to and from Corfu Airport
The airport is practically inside Corfu Town: the old town, the port and the bus stations are 10–15 minutes away by taxi, and the blue city bus takes 15–20. That makes the town, the Kanoni peninsula and the port for Paxos and Igoumenitsa the easy destinations.
Everywhere else is a drive: Corfu is a long, hilly island and the resorts run from Kavos at the southern tip to Sidari and Kassiopi in the north, an hour or more on winding roads. The green KTEL buses reach all of them from the town station, but with luggage and a family a pre-booked transfer is what most people do.
Taxi from Corfu Airport
The rank is outside arrivals. Corfu taxis are dark blue and white, fares to the resorts are set by the local association and posted at the rank, and the night tariff applies after midnight. Blue bus 15 to Corfu Town and the green KTEL buses
Line 15 of the Corfu blue city bus links the airport with San Rocco square in Corfu Town every 30–45 minutes in season for €1.70, from a stop a few steps from arrivals, and continues to the port. It is the cheapest way into town and to the ferries, and San Rocco is where the other blue lines start. Service thins out in the evening and in winter.
The green KTEL buses to the resorts (Sidari, Kassiopi, Paleokastritsa, Kavos and the rest) do not enter the airport; they leave from the green bus station near the new port, a €15 taxi or a bus 15 ride away. Some pass on the main road a few hundred metres from the terminal, but the stop is unmarked and not worth the gamble with luggage.

Pre-booked transfers and the port
For anywhere north of Dassia or south of Benitses, a pre-booked transfer is the sensible default: fixed price, driver in arrivals, child seats on request, and no dependence on the taxi rank on a Saturday. The package operators fill the forecourt with coaches after each UK and German arrival. Ferry travellers to Paxos, Igoumenitsa or Italy have it easy: the new port is ten minutes away.
